care to dance-
hypnotic lights and
sounds have left me in a trance
need a chance- to shed this lie and
show inside and leave this mask i wear behind
i see everything in this little world- through my disguise
i’ll be anything that I want to be- don’t look
in my eyes
pain within- i long to be set free from this prison of my
sin
will it end- these daunting chains,
this taunting pain- i'm about to go insane
i’m sick
of the me i see- talking
the talk but not walking the walk
i’m sick of the me i see- swayed by
the winds of conventional thought
don’t want to be a closet Christian
i want to show the world I’m a man on a mission
within me burns a consuming flame
i’m not ashamed of the Name * so
how do you like me now
i see everything in this little world

help me be everything that i want to be
