Basis: Gal 5:16 "Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not
fulfill the lust of the flesh".
Warning: Mark 4:19
"The lusts & cares of this world choke the words & we
become unfruitful.
God's will is that we no longer be slaves of sin.
(1 Thess 4:3, Tit 2:11-13, Rom 6:6)
Once serving various lusts, now kindness & love & renewing
of Holy Spirit from God washes us. (Tit 3:3-5)
The lusts of the world are not of the Father.
Doing the will of the Father we "abideth forever".
(1 John 2:16,17)
Remember Christ suffered in the flesh. Those who do
likewise will stop sinning and live rest of their time for
the will of God. (1 Pet 4:1,2)
Lust ----> conceived to sin ----> death
(arrows above means 'leads to')
Holy Spirit gives self-control. (Gal 5:22)

in the Spirit (ACTION). (Gal 5:25)
God is slow to Anger
(Rom 1:18, John 3:36, PS 103:8) (A perfect God still has
anger as an attribute). Anger is not to be ashamed of, but
how we deal with anger. Suppressed anger is not good.
Look for cause(s) and look for solution(s) for next time.
Even the Angels got strength from God's word (PS 103:20)
Hope in God cleanses us (1 John 3:3)
Perfecting holiness cleanses us (2 Cor 7:1)
Give no opportunity for the devil (Eph 4:27) (Focus on
Jesus DAILY!!!)
Replace anger with good (Rom 12:19-21)
Anger is a work of the flesh (Gal 5:20) Anger is a
characteristic of fools (Eccl 7:9)
If we are angry at someone without a good reason, we bring
judgment on ourselves (Matt 5:22)
Anger brings its own punishment (Job 5:2)
Anger interferes with our Christian example to others &
our love for others. Be renewed in the spirit (attitude)
of your mind. (Eph 4:23, Rom 12:2). How? By PRAYER and
READING GOD'S WORD.
Flee lusts - pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace. (2
Tim 2:22).
Righteousness is revealed through the Bible (Rom 1:17).
Faith comes by hearing the Bible (Rom 10:17).
Peace that is not like the world gives (temporary peace, a
peace that is dependent on other things) (John 14:27).
Therefore, it is a peace rooted spiritually (from God).
The Word of God is rightousness (2 Tim 3:16).
Christ knows our weaknesses. (Heb 4:15)
The Lord is not only a Father but a helper and promises
not to leave us (Heb 13:5,6)
