A.The Bible says:

IV.Salvation by grace
through faith, plus nothing, minus nothing
A.Our works will not get us to Heaven.Salvation is a gift from God.
1.Eph. 2:8 For
by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift
of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2.Romans 5:8 But God commendeth
his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
doom in hell for the unbeliever, and eternal bliss in Heaven for the believer.
A.This brings us to the reality of the matters
1.Every man, woman and child in this world will end up in
one of these two ends.
2.Revelation 21:7He that overcometh
shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

4.God cares where we go.
5.2Pe3:9 The Lord is not slack
concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to
us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
belief is fundamental.
1.We believe God's Word.
2.We believe Christ is the Son of God,
came to earth, died for our sins, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.
3.We believe that man is in need of such a Saviour.
4.We follow God’s simple plan of Salvation.
5.And we gladly claim Heaven as our home.
B.Now, will you take these fundamental beliefs to
your own heart this morning?
a.Believe in the Word of God
b.Believe in the Saviour
c.Call upon Christ to save you.
d.Follow Him in Baptism
e.Become a member and walk in the Light of Christ.
2.Don’t be unbelieving!Don’t cling to a passing world.
a.The rewards are all too brief.
b.And the resulting condemnation is everlasting.
c.Make your way to an altar this morning and receive Christ
as your Saviour.
