There is a great day coming when Jesus will return
Oh such a great day coming, of Jesus on the earth
That is glory, glory day: imagine you and Jesus standing face to face
But if tomorrow were that glory day, would you be ready?
Live your life as though tomorrow were that day: the coming of the Lord
How do you want to meet in rapture or in shame?
Let's be ready now, ready for Glory Day

Wake from your slumber, salvation is near -
the night is nearly over and the day is almost here
All creation groans, waiting to be free
People don't waste your time running day after day
Chasing treasure down here when it's all going to fade away
We came into this life with nothing and with nothing we will leave
Tell me, who can stand on the day of the Lord?
Only he that has clean hands and he that has a pure heart
And he that's called on the Lord and in his heart has believed
Fight the fight, forget what's behind, strain to what's ahead, press on
Keep the faith, finish the race, confident and unashamed, hold on
Take hold of the goal, win the prize

Then the trumpet will sound and he'll open the cloud
And every eye will see and every knee will touch the ground …
And the angels will cry, "Worthy! Worthy is the Lamb that was slain!"
One will be left and the other will be taken:
how can we escape if we ignore such a great salvation?
People will rise, they will meet him in the air, oh yeah
The heavens will roll up like a robe, everything will be laid bare,
what is hid will be exposed
The motives of our hearts will be seen for what they are
And then the dead, great and small, will stand before the throne
Each will receive praise from God or be judged for what they've done
What can stand will survive: our God is a consuming fire

Then the moment will come when those from every tribe and tongue
Will stand before the throne all purchased with his blood
We will be the holy city, the new Jerusalem
The radiant bride, there by His side, by the mercy of God,
Holy and blameless in His sight
He will be our God, and we will be His, forever
And we'll join with the angels to sing, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty
Who was and is and is to come and is worthy of all honour and praise!"
The Spirit and the bride say "Come, anyone who hears"
The Spirit and the bride say "Come, anyone who thirsts, come and drink of this life,
Come drink of the water of life"
