When I think of the goodness of Jesus
and all He's done for me,
my soul cries out, hallelujah, thank God for saving me.
Jesus saved me,
Jesus changed me,
He washed me in the cleansing blood of the Lamb.
Jesus filled me,
I know I am free from sin;
to the uptmost Jesus saves,
to the uptmose Jesus saves.
I was sinking in a world of sin,
had no hope, no peace within;
everyday of my life was filled with sadness,
thought my life would soon come to an end.
But then I fell down on my knees and prayed,
I cried out, Lord, please take the pain away.
Then I gave the Lord my heart right that very hour,
He delivered me, now I stand before you with power.
Saved, oh yes, I am,
I am saved.
I used to be lost, but now I'm found,
yes, I'm standing on solid ground.
I used to be blind, but now I see,
I used to be shackled, but now I'm free.
I used to be lost.
But now I'm found.
To the uptmost Jesus saves.
