Thank you for this wonderful site and for giving to the Lord. Thank
you for providing nourishment and helping us better understand this
living water, and for providing the resources for understanding the word
of God. Thank you for providing spiritual nourishment free of charge in
the sermons, music, music videos, news and in building a great
fellowship community for us Christians. Kind of like the old fashioned
idea of Christians building each other up and sharing everything with
those in need. I thank God, he saved me, and that he is using your site

I WAS AN EPILEPTIC SINCE AGE 11 UNTIL JESUS HEALED ME!

I went through a lot of pain, fear & trauma in my life. When I was eleven years old, I began having violent seizures which were diagnosed as Grand Mal Epileptic Seizures! 

I would have at least 1 or 2 Grand Mal Seizure every day and took handfuls of pills to try to control the epileptic seizures.

I Had 1 or 2 Grand Mal Seizures and took 7 Pills (Delanton Phenobarb & Others) Daily!

Pastor Max Solbrekken prayed for me in Prince Rupert (1992). I was instantly healed & have been totally free from epilepsy since that date.

 I do not need any medication! Praise God!

Miracle Testimony

I had been suffering for many months with pain due to my car and fall accidents. I am unable to take pain pills as I am allergic to them and I am going to physiotherapy to try and be cured which is taking forever. 

There are still parts of my body which have to be healed but I am going to leave it in God’s hands and I know deep in my heart that He will come through for me.

When I got up in the morning I had to walk with a cane for about an hour and roll out of bed as my back and neck were so bad, but thanks to you I didn’t use my cane or roll out of bed today because God healed me last night. Praise the Lord, and I had the most restful sleep I’ve had in a long time.                

You see, I do believe in miracles as many years ago, I got very sick with a disease and was paralyzed from the waist down and was unable to walk and be with my kids. Doctors had to come to my bedside as I refused to be put in the hospital and stayed at home with them. Somebody once told me if you ask Jesus to help you and raise up your hand, He can cure you. 

I thought it couldn’t hurt so I tried it and praise the Lord, He came while I rested and a miracle happened. When I woke up, a hand touched me and when I turned around there was nobody there but I knew it was God. He then told me to roll over and pull myself up slowly, take a pillow with me to sit on the chair in the living room, put my feet on the floor, stand up and walk out to see my family and I did it and to this day I have been walking in Christ’s path ever since.         

I hope everybody will find the light at the end of the tunnel as I’ve had and believe in the power that God has for us. God bless you and your family on your journey and I am so glad I came last night and met you.

I WAS  AN ASTHMATIC FOR 20 YEARS
 Then Jesus Made Me Well

In 1998, I almost died during an asthma attack. It was so severe that I went into a death coma that lasted two weeks. I wasn’t expected to live! I was rushed to Vancouver and my life was spared. It has been a rough road, but finally it’s over by the grace of God!

My husband George and I attended the Max Solbrekken Crusade on Sept. 18 in Telkwa. The atmosphere was filled with something glorious. There was the uplifting singing and then Pastor Max Solbrekken began to speak. His words just held one in total awe!

Then he asked if anyone needed prayer, a healing. I put up my hand and without my knowing it, so did George. We went to the front, several of us , and he prayed for each of us. When he came to me, I told him of my asthma.

Max placed his hands on my neck and then as he spoke, a great warmth began to build up in my chest.  He asked me what was happening, so I mentioned this warmth and how good it felt! As he continued to pray, something opened up like an explosion in my chest!

Max took my hands and asked how I felt. I said, “Great, so wonderful.” Then he asked me to jump, which I did several times without developing the onset of an asthma attack. Again he asked me how I felt. I was very excited and I said, “GREAT!”  Then Max asked me to run around the room, and I did. I had no trouble breathing! I ran again and my whole being was enjoying this experience.

On this evening, I was touched by God and healed of my asthma! For over 20 years, I suffered. Now, I’m breathing normally! The morning after my miracle, I went outside and cut wood for the stove. I’ve even climbed halfway up a little mountain!

Two years ago, I had heel spurs and they also are gone and it happened when Max prayed for me! My Lord and Saviour has given me an opportunity to live a fulfilling life, breathing normally and happily! My darling George and I cried with joy at home! I will follow God’s will and take care of myself through prayer and speaking to my Lord! I’m going to work with His plans, and continue breathing this wonderful fresh air!

Do They Stay Healed?

In 1962 I was in a very bad car accident. The car in which I was driving was hit on the front side by another car which had swung across a four-land intersection. My left leg was very badly injured.

I had medical attention for approximately fifteen months, which involved therapy and deep heat treatment. 

These treatments helped to ease the pain, but otherwise there was no improvement. My left leg was going numb and it was very difficult to sit. My whole nervous system was in a very bad state.    

I heard about Brother Max Solbrekken and that he was coming to New Westminster to hold some revival meetings in the Nordic Centre. 

That was in January, 1964. I decided to go to the meetings to see if there was anything he could do to help me. I did not know very much about Faith Healing, but I was desperate to get some relief as I was not improving but getting worse.

When Brother Solbrekken prayed for me he stressed the importance of holding onto God’s promises and believing that the work was done. 

He gave me the Scripture “I am the Lord that healeth thee” and for the next few days I kept repeating this Scripture over and over.              

At the time I was prayed for I didn’t see any change, but about three days after my wife remarked on the tremendous change that had come over me; my whole mental attitude had changed - I was much more agreeable and pleasant. The pain and numbness began to leave - God had touched me.

That is over three years ago and today I am perfectly well. I can do any type of physical work, even loading furniture, and have no pain or hindrance whatsoever. 

I have had two stiff medical examinations just lately and passed both easily. I now work for a railroad company. Praise the Lord!

Editor’s Note: This testimony carried in October 1964 issue of our magazine. Jake Rempel is retired and still well today (1997) and works as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
