Personal Evangelism
Learn Heb. 7:25
"Wherefore he is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."
-The Bible teaches the way of Salvation is progressive. We must learn to walk with Cod.
-We accept the Lord. Look to the Lord and we will begin to grow.
-The Lord gives grace so we can walk with Him.
-Jesus can keep us from falling because he is risen. Jesus will direct our life if we put our hand in the hand of Jesus.
-All power is given to Jesus.
Matt 28:18
"And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."
-A young convert is to realize that he doesn't stand in his own strength but in the strength of Christ. Point them to Jesus at all times. He is the example. When we get our eyes off our Jesus we are in danger of falling.
-Every Christian has a hedge of protection around them. Praise God!! (Unless we step away from him). We must always be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit of God. We must realize that we need God.
-Show Jesus is Lord.
Acts 2:36
"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
-Jesus wants to he Lord of our life. Show them how to make Jesus their own.
-Often people generalize God's Word and don't make it personal.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."
-Show the need of confessing Christ with the mouth. (Rom. 10:9)
-We must have heart believing faith.
Rom 10:9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Lead into assurance. John 3:36
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him,
